Pharmacological Action of

High blood pressure: alpha-1 Adrenergic receptor blocker, the primary effect of this blockage is relaxed vascular smooth muscle tone (vasodilation), which decreases peripheral vascular resistance, leading to decreased blood pressure.
Benign prostatic hyperplasia:Acts on the located alfa-adrenergic receptors in muscular strome.

Indications

Medicine indicated in the treatment of high blood pressure, as initial treatment or in combination with other hypertensive agents in patients who suitably are not controlled. Also indicated in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.
