Pharmacological Action

Protect the bladder and kidneys from the effects of the chemotherapy drugs oxazophosphamides and cyclophosphamide.
It works through by union to a sulfhydryl active group to acrolein and other urotoxics metabolites of iphosphamide and the ciclophosphamide.

Indications

It is indicated in patients to whom is administrated cyclophosphamide in high doses or those in haemorrhagic and cystitis risk induced by drugs as iphosphamide and cyclophosphamide.
